This is an absolute one off gem!
I couldn't resist rescuing this wonderful, original Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee plate that was badly damaged, by integrating the 'damage' into a silent movie style story as the butler shares the terrible damage with his 'boss' .
I always used to discard damaged plates with some remorse but I have now found a way of giving them a new life by incorporating the defect into the design/story. I have found some fabulous plates like this that cant be sold but can be given a wonderful new lease of artistic life.
Whether a gift idea or home decor for you, this unique and quirky plate works brilliantly as a talking point when displayed on a wall or plate stand.
(NB: A FREE plate hanger and hook are supplied with this plate so that you can hang it as soon as you receive it)
The plate measures approximately 26.25 cms/10.25 inches and the back reads 'Imperial Porcelain W. Adams & co Tunstall'.
The plate is really for decorative purposes - although it can be gently rinsed, in order to preserve the fragile designs, please do not soak, scrub or place in a microwave or dishwasher.
The crack and chips are obvious on the front and back ) but please also be aware that there are other blemishes on the plate and/or fading in parts of the rim - I hope you will agree that these are true signs of having been pre loved and only add to it's quirky vintage character!
This is one of a series of plates that I have available -I am limited by the opportunity of finding damaged plates and they tend to fly off the shelf!
