Shipping & Returns

Shipping Information

I take particular pride and care when packing the items to ensure they arrive in the same condition they leave me and I try to use recyclable materials where possible.

In order to try to keep costs down without compromising delivery of the parcel, I use services provided by Royal Mail as detailed below.

All parcels under 2kg will be sent by Royal Mail Standard 2nd class service, which should take 2-3 working days.
There is no cost for this service.

I have included a small charge if you opt for the Royal Mail Signed for service.

In the unlikely event that a parcel is over 2kg, it will be sent by ParcelForce and charged accordingly - I have included the maximum in the rates and will refund any excess by Paypal.

All parcels will be sent by Royal Mail International Standard service (Global Value) which should take 3-5 working days for Europe and 5-7 working days worldwide.
However, please be aware that on rare occasions, delivery can take up to 21 working days.

I will always obtain proof of posting but if you prefer to have the parcel sent using Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed for service (advisable for higher value and/or multiple items), please opt for that in the shipping menu.

Please be aware that for International delivery, postal rates vary considerably according to weight. This means that there can be considerable discrepancy between the postal charge for one plate compared with that for another. (eg: some of my smaller, fine bone china plates are particularly light, whilst others may weigh up to 500 g more). I have tried to be as accurate as possible with my charges but occasionally I can miss the mark -  thankfully, this is more likely to be my loss but I will always refund the excess.
Obviously if you have any questions about the postal charges please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Customers outside of the United Kingdom are responsible for any import duties, taxes or any other fees associated with their respective countries.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Many thanks!

Easy Returns & Exchanges

As the china is fragile, I take the greatest care when packaging the plates to ensure that they arrive at their destination in one piece.
However, in the unlikely event that any plate arrives damaged, please just send me a photo and I will either provide a refund or replace the item free of charge - whichever you prefer (NB: if you prefer to have another item in exchange, please note that due to the unique nature of each piece, I will be able to repeat the design but not the exact plate so I will liaise with you on the plate options)

Although the Royal Mail provides likely delivery times, as ever, there is no guarantee on this and, unfortunately, it is out of my control.
Please allow 2 weeks to elapse and then if the plate(s) still hasn't arrived, please let me know and I will of course follow it up.

I obviously hope that you love the item when you receive it, but if for any reason you would like to return it, please just follow these steps:

*let me know within 7 days of receipt that you wish to return the plate(s) - if you can, it would be useful to know why for my own research and understanding!
*repack it carefully and post it back to me
*let me know when you have sent it, and by which postal method, so that I know when to expect it
*please obtain proof of posting so that we have some opportunity to follow up if it doesn't arrive back
