The Painter

The Painter

If you love home decor that get's people talking, then take a look at this vintage mismatched pair of Johnson Bros and Swinnertons scenic plates, upcycled with imagery of an artist in blue dungarees, balancing precariously on a ladder to put his finishing touches to 'painting' the bricks.

I couldn't resist the opportunity to work with the existing imagery on these fabulous plates and when on display as wall art this quirky, one of a kind decorative plate set is bound to be a talking point.

**NB: Heavy duty Velcro strips for safe and effortless hanging is supplied FREE with this plate.
The strips are ready for immediate use and full instructions are provided**

The plates are really for decorative purposes - although they can be gently rinsed, in order to preserve the fragile designs, please do not soak, scrub or place them in a microwave or dishwasher.

The plates measure approximately 18 cms/7 inches .

Please be aware that you may see slight blemishes on the plate and/or fading in parts -  I hope you will agree that these are true signs of having been pre loved and only add to their quirky vintage character!

Each plate I make is a one off - whilst I repeat the imagery, it is never on the same plate. Given this, you may be interested to see this design used on other vintage plates by visiting the quirky Victorian archive.
